An Insight On Us!

Hey Guys! We are Gab and Zac! We are a young couple from a country town called Mildura! Ages 21 and 24! We both felt as if the lifestyle back home wasn’t for us and decided to make a change! If you feel like the 9-5 job lifestyle isn’t all life’s made to be! You’re not alone! ❤️

What are our Hobbies?!

We both have a love for snowboarding and skateboarding! We do chilly snow seasons in our van … that’s how much we love it 😝.

I’m sure you know, but Zacs absolutely obsessed with Sky Diving! He’s been doing it for about two or more years and is trying to progress as quickly as he can. 🪂

Snorkelling/Free Diving became a love of ours when we travelled into WA! The ocean is a whole knew world. If you haven’t given it a crack we highly recommend! 🤿

And lastly surfing has been added to the list! We are still getting the hang of it! But worth the laugh 😝🏄‍♀️

Do we work?

We have figured out a strategic way of living the van life! To answer the question … yes, we work and travel. We’ve figured that 3 months in an area is the longest we can go without feeling bored! So, we score ourselves work in a beautiful location for three months and make a decent income while we enjoy our life! Zac packs parachutes as a job and I (Gab) generally do barista work or house cleaning. Once the warmer weather is over we head back to the snow in NSW for the season! 💪 This year we have both scored ourselves snowboard instructor gigs @Thredbo. 👏

How do we find work?

Social Media is your best friend when it comes to looking for work! We’ve figured out that Facebook Community pages are the “Go To” when you’re on the hunt! There’s plenty of work going around and people desperately in need of staff! All you have to do is sign up to a Facebook community page and make a post about yourself and within minutes your phone will be blowing up with job offers!

… yeh it’s pretty simple and easy 😅

Do we have any pets?

Yes! Meet Kohda! She’s an American Staffy x Kelpie. We added her to our trip in Jindabyne last year during our snow season. She’s about a year old now and super goofy! We were skeptical about getting a dog on the road but in the end it’s been such a blessing! If you’re considering adding a little companion to your adventure don’t hesitate to consider it ❤️. It’s hard work during the first few months but once potty training is sorted it’s a piece of piss 👏
